Den Huan Hooi

Hooi Den Huan is Director of the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and an Associate Professor at its Business School. Together with Philip Kotler and Hermawan Kartajaya, Den co-authored two bestsellers, “Think ASEAN!” and “Rethinking Marketing” (also with Sandra Liu) and the latest book is “Think NEW ASEAN!” Den is a Chartered Marketer (CIMUK), Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and obtained his Phd from the University of Manchester. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Sloan School of Management, MIT and a Babson College TETA Fellow. He is an advisory board member of the Times Higher Education, Times of India and the School of Business Management, ITB, Indonesia. Den is also an honorary consultant for the Commercial Sub-Council, CCPIT, a Supervisor of the Asia Marketing Federation Foundation, a past president of ICSB Singapore and a current Vice-President of the Asian Council for Small Business In 2011, Den was conferred the Distinguished Global Leadership award by the Pan-Pacific Business Association and the ICSB President’s Award in 2014.
