Deniz ├ľncel

Deniz ├ľncel is the Healthcare Policy and Communications Director of MSD, one of the world`s largest research-based biopharmaceutical company, which discovers, develops, manufactures and markets a broad portfolio that spans the entire spectrum of human and animal health products, in Turkey. Previously, she worked for Novo Nordisk as Market Access Manager developing and executing projects to showcase the company`s footprint in Turkey as multinational solution partner to change diabetes from an economic and social perspective. Deniz began her career as an investment banker at Interbank in 1995. After assuming different managerial positions in the private sector, she joined the U.S. Department of State as an Economic Advisor responsible for bilateral trade and investment issues. She is specialized in multi-stakeholder consensus building to remove barriers to trade and investment and to increase cooperation in science, technology, health, ICT, transportation, and humanitarian assistance. Deniz received her bachelor`s degree from the Middle East Technical University, School of Business Administration, and holds a MSc. degree in corporate finance from the University of Salford, U.K.
