Nadir Kemal Yılmaz

Mr. Nadir Kemal Yilmaz has a mechanical engineering degree from the Middle East Technical University and an MBA degree from Koc University. He worked with leading investment banks in Istanbul contributing to M&A, IPO, privatisation and real estate investment projects. Some projects he contributed are the 152.5 million US$ acquisition of Bossa, a textile industry group company of Sabancı Holding, by Akkardan, a Turkish automotive parts manufacturer; the 2.05 billion US$ privatisation of Petkim Petrochemical Plant and IPOs of several Turkish companies in airlines, logistics, pharmaceuticals, white goods and finance sectors. Mr. Yilmaz co authored and published academic papers on China-Turkey relations with a focus of foreign direct investments (FDI) and geopolitics. His “China and Turkey: A Study in Symmetry” paper, published in 2008, received an award from Turkish prime minister in 2011.
