Nuri Duman

Nuri Duman is Programme Specialist (Partnerships) as part of the New Partnerships and Emerging Donors Team in the UNDP Regional Center in Istanbul. He joined UNDP from the Turkish Ministry of Development where he has worked for over 10 years served in the areas of development assistance, as well as leading the work on such issues as aid effectiveness, R&D policy and MDG monitoring. He is responsible for facilitating the partnership with the Turkish Government as a donor and global development player, thus contributing to the corporate new strategic partnerships agenda. He also supports the partnerships and south-south cooperation agenda more broadly, working in close cooperation with other members of the New Partnerships Team, as well as other thematic teams, UNDP COs and the UNOSSC. New partnerships with the intergovernmental organizations in the RBEC Region is part of his duty.
