Paul T. Levin

Dr. Paul T. Levin Dr. Paul T. Levin is the founding Director of the Stockholm University Institute for Turkish Studies (SUITS). The author of Turkey and the European Union: Christian and Secular Images of Islam (Palgrave, 2011), his most recent publications explore topics from environmental policy to new approaches in the field of Turkish Studies. Dr. Levin previously served as Program Director for Governance and Management Training Stockholm University, has been a recurring guest lecturer at Oxford University and the TIAS Nimbas Business School, and was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Government at Sun Yat-sen University. He is a founding member of the Consortium for European Symposia of Turkish Studies and a Research Fellow at the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul. He has given invited lectures in countries around the world and is regularly consulted by Swedish and international media on Turkish affairs. Dr. Levin holds a Ph.D. in International Relations and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
