Selcen Erdem

Selcen Erdem is the Government Affairs Head of Novartis Turkey since 2014. She graduated from Bornova Anadolu Highschool in Izmir and earned her Bachelor’s Degree on Economics at the Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. After her graduation, she worked as Assistant Business Manager at Gillette for 4 years. After Gillette, she worked as Product Manager both at Sanofi-Aventis and GlaxoSmithKline in between 2004-2006 and 2002-2004 respectively. Since 2006, Selcen Erdem has been assigned to several different positions at Novartis Turkey. She first started as Product Manager for a year and then she was the Government Affairs Manager in between 2007 – 2011. During this time, she worked as KAM Head / Government Affairs Manager where she reported to both Market Access and Public Affairs & Corporate Communication function heads in between 2010 – 2011. Prior to her current position at Novartis Turkey, she worked as the Drug Regulatory Affairs Head for 3 years. Currently, Selcen Erdem is also completing her MBA degree at the Bilkent University.
