Semuhi Sinanoğlu

Semuhi Sinanoğlu completed his double major program in Political Science & International Relations and Economics at Bogazici University, Istanbul. He spent one semester at Columbia University, NY as part of an exchange program. He is pursuing his MA in International Relations at Koc University, Istanbul. Global Relations Forum conferred the title of “young scholar” on him and the Turkish Educational Foundation granted him “Outstanding Success Scholarship”. For one year, he served as the vice-president of the Association of International Relations Studies for Turkey (IRST) that mobilizes the students of political science and international relations in Turkey. He has been working as a social policy analyst at Development Analytics, an Istanbul&London-based research company whose clients include regional governments and international organizations. He also served as the editor of online magazine Aydabir that focuses on the city culture and the narratives of subordinate. Currently, he is the Co-Founder & Chair of Co-Opinion, a policy-oriented youth solidarity network in the Middle East & North Africa that mobilizes youth civil society organizations, student councils, and academic institutes to advocate youth policies in the region.
