Yuyan Zhang

Professor ZHANG Yuyan is Senior Fellow and Director of Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Member of the Foreign Policy Advisory Group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and President of China Society of World Economy. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Department of Economics at Peking University in 1983, and Master and Ph.D. Degrees in Economics at the Graduate School of CASS in 1986 and 1991 respectively. His main academic interests include institutional economics and international political economy. He authored Economic Development and the Choice of Institutions and International Economic Politics, etc.
